Caroline Clark is an administrative professional and director residing in Petaluma, California.
A lifelong passion for theatre started at age 9 when she began participating in community theatre in her hometown of Bakersfield, CA. Throughout adolescence Caroline performed, directed, and designed for community theaters in her hometown- eventually landing at The Empty Space where she was asked to join the Board of Directors. Throughout her 5-year tenure Caroline took on varying administrative roles including Executive Communications Director and Web and Print Media designer.
In 2012, Caroline relocated to the Silicon Valley in search of professional and artistic opportunities. She quickly began stage managing productions at Pear Theatre in Mountain View where she eventually joined the Steering Committee. Caroline has since branched out performing designing, and directing at various Silicon Valley theaters including The Pear, Silicon Valley Shakespeare, City Lights, and Los Altos Stage Company.
In fall 2020, Caroline and her husband, John, moved to Sonoma County, where they are raising their toddler son. She works remotely for Google as an Executive Business Partner for Google Cloud’s Network Infrastructure teams.
Directing credits include: Sweat, Sojourn (World Premiere) In The Next Room, Uncanny Valley, The Walls of Jericho (World Premiere), and Kimberly Akimbo at Pear Theatre, The Hood of Sherwood at Silicon Valley Shakespeare (World Premiere), Desperate Hearts (Lights Up! Festival reading) at City Lights Theatre Company, and Dustin Lance Black’s 8: The Play and The Vagina Monologues at The Empty Space.
Acting credits include Susan in [title of show] (Los Altos), BoBug in Geeks VS Zombies (Pear), Holly in Next Fall, and Prudence in Beyond Therapy (TES).
